Rule 1 · Approvals

Anything that matters waits for your yes.

It arrives as one page: the problem, the approach, the options, the risks, the cost, how to roll it back, and the evidence. You decide what counts as important, and you can tighten it any time.

Try the buttons. This one is an example.

Rule 2 · Costs

Every cent shown. Capped by a daily limit.

Every task shows the model that ran and what it cost. You set one daily limit for the whole team, and it stops to ask before going over. When a cost can't be known, it says Unknown.

One cost is unknown, and it says so. At the limit the team stops and asks.
Rule 3 · Your Mac

Hands on your Mac, inside firm rails.

On a Mac, the co-founder can do real work on your computer. It stays in your home folder, and places like your keys, keychain, browsers and mail are blocked. A short list of safe commands runs on its own. Any other command, and anything that overwrites, moves or deletes, waits for one click. It never uses sudo. You can switch it off in Settings.

Looking around and a short list of safe commands run on their own. Other commands wait for your click. Sudo and system changes are refused.
Rules 4 and 5 · Audit and mail

The work is checked. Mail gives no orders.

Audit · reports to you

Someone checks the work who doesn't work for the co-founder

The Audit lead checks proof, costs and approvals, and reports straight to you. Every action leaves a record you can read later.

Email can inform the team. It can't instruct it.

Mail is read as information. A message that asks for something is still only a message.
